Introduction about PMI

The PMI Colombo Chapter is the local body of the Project Management Institute (PMI) of USA. The Vision of the PMI Colombo Chapter is “Contribute to the sustainable development of our nation with the world’s best practices in Project Management”. In order to achieve the vision, there are eight directors appointed to conduct different kind of Programs mainly involving following areas;

• Professional Development programs
• Membership Development Programs
• Fund Rising Programs
• PM Marketing Programs
• PM Branch Development Programs

Role of a Volunteer:

We are currently looking for Volunteers to participate and support for the above programs

There is an opportunity for those who wish to excel in Project Management, to join as Volunteer for Project Management Institute of USA, Colombo Chapter. Currently PMI Colombo Chapter is looking to recruit 25 Volunteers for PMI to carryout different kind of programs in the calendar year of the PMI.

• Ability to join Training Programs conducted by PMI Colombo Chapter, free of charge after 6 months period
