Aruna Kooragamage is an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer by profession. Being a holder of Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP), he is a member of Project Management Institute of USA (MPMI.)
He is a Member of Institute of Engineering Technology (MIET), an Engineer accredited by the Engineering Council – UK and a Full Technological Diploma holder of City & Guilds – London. Aruna obtained his MBA from Preston University – USA.
He possesses more than fourteen (14) years of experience in Strategic Planning, Leading/Managing Teams, Project Management, General Management, Engineering Management and Human Resource Management.
Aruna has gained in excess of eight (08) years of experience as a Project Management Trainer/Lecturer. At present Aruna serves as a Lecturer/Academic Panel Member in many institutes such as Post Graduate Institute of Management, University of Colombo, Singapore Informatics, IFS Software Development Centre and Informatics Institute of Technology. His consultancy assignments have spanned over many prestigious public and private sector establishments.
He also has been a distinguished speaker at numerous Project Management forums in Sri Lanka organized by key entities such as Lions Club International, Sri Lanka Telecom, Ceylon Electricity Board, Institute of Public Finance and Development Accountancy, CIMA Sri Lanka, E&Y Sri Lanka, Colombo Dockyards PLC, Ministry of Finance.
He delivered addresses at SARRC Regional Project Management Conference – 2010 and Regional Project Management Conference – 2012 held in Colombo.
