The PMI Regional Conference 2012 is an event targeting a network of professionals, national and international, marked in the PMI Asia Pacific calendar for 2012.

Project Management Institute Regional Conference 2012, is the second conference of this nature, which will be held in Sri Lanka in collaboration with Asia Pacific and Western Asian countries; this was initiated by PMI Sri Lanka to be Co - Branded with the PMI Asia Pacific Event.  Strategic Partnerships with ICTA are established for industry professional and business knowledge sharing among regional Project Management Professionals.  This conference will serve to improve Professional Knowledge & Practices of Project Management which in turn will improve project results.  This event is also used to promote Sri Lanka and Colombo as the most suitable venue for Professional conferences and events, and to promote professional tourism in the island in addition to promoting future investments.
